2024 Nossrat Yassini Poetry Prize Winner Kweku Abimbola For his collection Saltwater Demands a Psalm (Graywolf Press) We're delighted to announce that final judge Camille Dungy has selected Kweku Abimbola's debut, Saltwater Demands a Psalm, as the inaugural Nossrat Yassini Poetry Prize winner. Teacher Fellows

English teachers bring the beauty and power of language into the classroom, empowering students to put their feelings into words.  These teaching fellowships offer a stipend to teachers who have devoted themselves to developing pedagogical innovations in the teaching of poetry.  Fellows participate in the creation of a poetry curriculum the summer before the festival, which will then be available to other teachers, encouraging them to bring poetry into their classrooms.
